The "Inbox Zero" Philosophy

Managing cold email at scale creates a logistical nightmare: logging into 50 different Google Workspaces to check 50 different "Spam" and "Inbox" folders.

SmartBox solves this by pulling every reply from every connected email account into one centralized dashboard. It acts as a "Command Center" for your sales team, allowing you to reply to leads without ever leaving the SendScale platform.

The Interface Architecture

When you click the SmartBox icon (Inbox symbol) in the left sidebar, you are greeted with a three-pane layout designed for speed.

1. The Filter Bar (Top Header)

Before you dive into emails, you must slice the data. The top header contains powerful filters to help you focus:

  • Search: A global search bar. Type a lead's name, company, or email address to find their thread across all campaigns.

  • Inbox Tabs (Primary vs. Others):

    • Primary: Real replies from humans.

    • Others: Often captures auto-replies, bounces, or emails from people not in your lead list.

  • "All" Dropdown (Read Status): Filter by Unread, Read, or Campaign Replies.

    • Pro Tip: Start your day by filtering for "Unread" to clear the backlog.

  • Accounts Filter: By default, SmartBox shows replies from all email accounts. Use this dropdown to view only the inbox of a specific sender (e.g., [email protected]).

  • Campaigns Filter: Drill down to see replies only for a specific initiative (e.g., "Q3_SaaS_Outreach").

  • Lead Status Filter: Filter by sentiment (e.g., show me only "Interested" leads).

2. The Conversation List (Left Panel)

This vertical list displays your active threads.

  • Visual Cues: Unread emails appear in Bold text.

  • Preview: Shows the lead's Name, the Subject Line, and a snippet of the latest message.

  • Selection: Clicking a thread loads the full conversation in the center view.

3. The Conversation View (Right Panel)

(Visible when a thread is selected)

  • The Thread: Displays the full history of the automated campaign emails sent and the manual replies received.

  • The Reply Box: A rich-text editor allows you to type your response.

    • Note: SendScale automatically routes your reply through the correct sending account. You do not need to worry about which email you are "logged in" as.

Syncing Logic

SmartBox syncs with your email providers (Google/Outlook) in near real-time.

  • Action Mirroring: If you mark an email as "Read" in SmartBox, it is marked as "Read" in Gmail.

  • Latency: It may take 1-2 minutes for a new reply to appear. You can click the Refresh Icon (circular arrows) next to the "New Email" button to force a sync.
