A
Accounts: The individual email inboxes (e.g., [email protected]) that you connect to the platform to send emails. SendScale allows for Unlimited Accounts on paid plans to facilitate horizontal scaling.
Auto-Enrich: A setting in the "Lead Lists" tab. When enabled, any lead added to a specific list is automatically processed to find their verified email and phone number, deducting credits immediately. You can disable this.
C
Campaign: The container for your outreach. A campaign consists of a specific List of Leads, a Sequence of Emails, and a Schedule.
Credits (SmartSearch): The currency used to "unlock" lead data. Credits are only deducted when we successfully find valid data.
Custom Tracking Domain: A technical setup (CNAME record) that replaces the generic tracking pixel URL with your own domain. This improves deliverability by masking the "marketing" nature of your email.
E
Enrichment: The process of taking a raw lead (e.g., a Name and Company) and querying our database to find their verified contact information (Email, Phone, LinkedIn URL).
H
Health Score: A percentage metric visible in the Accounts tab. It represents the ratio of your Warmup emails landing in the Primary Inbox vs. the Spam Folder.
L
Lead Status: The categorization of a prospect based on their response.
New: Has not been contacted.
Contacted: Currently in a sequence.
Replied: Sent a response.
Interested/Meeting Booked: Positive outcomes (can be manually tagged in SmartBox).
P
Persona: The sender identity attached to an email account. For example, on the domain SendScale.com, you might have three personas: "Jack", "Tom", and "Sarah".
R:
Ramp-Up: The gradual increase of daily email volume (e.g., +2 per day) to simulate organic human behavior.
S
SmartBox: The Unified Inbox. A single interface that aggregates replies from all connected email accounts, allowing you to manage thousands of conversations without switching tabs.
SmartSearch: SendScale’s internal lead database and search engine.
Spintax: Short for "Spin Syntax." A format used to create variations of text to prevent spam filters from flagging identical content.
Example: {Hi|Hello|Hey} will randomly select one of the three greetings for each email sent.
V
Variables: Placeholders in your email templates that are automatically replaced with the lead's specific data.
Example: {{first_name}} becomes “John" from lead list.
Example: {{company_name}} becomes "Sample Corp” from lead list.
W
Warmup: The automated process of sending and receiving dummy emails between your account and a peer network to build domain reputation.
